Festival Culture: From Woodstock to Burning Man

Festival Culture: From Woodstock to Burning Man

It’s going to be a groovy show for sure! Exactly 50 years ago this month, Woodstock was sending vibrations of love that have continued to shape what we now call “Festival Culture.” Returning guests, Ronnie and Wendy Bevan (who was at Woodstock), take us back to that magic moment before we touch on the cultural significance of other mass gatherings all over the world.

We also welcome back Greg Thorne to the studio! Greg is an artist who creates handmade American turquoise jewelry as taught to him by Navajo and Pueblo Indians. In his artwork, Greg is focused on earlier technologies that emphasize the human heart expressed solely through the hands use of simple tools. His Southwest style turquoise jewelry can be found at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach, CA.
